Review: As Altmans classic cut short, and Anderson's Magnolia, accidents, by writer / director Paul Haggis depicts the story of some of the characters through a web of streets we have come to know as Los Angeles. Unlike the two other films, this one has a very specific theme. From the opening sentence uttered by Don Cheadle we know it is a movie about how people, and the following exchange between Jennifer Esposito and Alexis Rhee (pretty sure he plays a Korean female driver who rear-ended her) how people tend to bond with the first impression or prejudice.Race certainly very important in this film, and all the prejudices of our people who have twisted and turned through a complex plot. With each additional character we find different assumptions, other stereotypes, and then see if the prejudice is eradicated as a character. It is a credit to the written text will deft direction tight and superb acting talent that every one of the many characters that are fully realized on screen without ever feeling the dimensional.I like some details about what happened to discuss how to explain it well done , but part of the magic of this film is to allow yourself to take this trip. Mind you, this is not a pleasure trip. The first half of the film is relentless in its ferociousness. I could actually feel my anger at some of the characters is a fever. Fear and hatred I faced was not just on screen, but in my stomach. And at the moment absolutely brilliant I actually cried with horror unfold expectations, only to catharsis in way.Mr. Haggis released most unexpected present at the performance I saw, explained that the idea for this film came to him one night shortly after 9/11 at about 2:00 am when the memories of his own experience of car-jacking 10 years before would not leave him alone. It's clear that this film is the way to eliminate demons from memory, using the art of refining to make them free, and so for all theater audiences have the opportunity to explore our own preconceived ideas about race relations and how we treat each other and think of themselves our own. He mentioned in the discussion after wards that he liked the film that forces people to confront issues that are difficult to make. Films that people ask you to do the movie ends, just say the end: it was good film. This not a good film, and I would expect quite a discussion on requesting After that, when opened nationwide. It's a long discussion for this country, and has the Canadian case to bring forward the brilliant, the reflection film.
